There are two strange parameters: 'echo' and 'method'.
As I can see the 'echo' is not using at all,
'method' should always be empty or 'GET'.
The POST method is not supported. Am I right?

Could you please clarify how these parameters should be used?

This script is very weak and almost not usable.

I suggest to use the YAHOO UI Connect utility. It have good documentation, all A-grade browsers support and it is really easy to use.
